Up to 200 future Lithuanian social entrepreneurs will be educated in 2018

The association "Užupis Creative Cluster" continues its educational programme for university and college students from various fields of study. This year, one of its incentives is dedicated to the cause of social entrepreneurship. This incentive will see almost 200 students involved in over 20 lecturers as part of this exciting programme.

“Having completed the course, students will understand the essence of social business, will be able to identify social problems and successfully develop social business ideas, and will know the specifics of different forms of business",  says Marius Parescius, the President of The association "Užupis Creative Cluster". "Other issues include the legal and tax system, preparation and implementation of business plans, teamwork, and marketing (including social media). Also, the core issue is to make young people become more confident and able to trust others”.

After training, participants will design business plans in teams. The best team - chosen according to pre-announced contest conditions - will be rewarded by means of participation in a prestigious international industry event.

The project will be implemented with partners, including; Vilnius Business College, Klaipeda University, Mykolas Romeris University, and the University of applied social science.
