Export development project is started to be implemented in the field of creative industries

Užupis Creative Cluster started to implement a project co-funded from the European Regional Development Fund Užupis Creative Cluster Export Development in the Field of Creative Industries No. 03.2.1-LVPA-K-807-01-0016.

The aim of the project - Užupis Creative Cluster export development and involvement into international market chains.


Total eligible costs of the project: 452.912,40 EUR, including a portion from EU: 319.833,8 EUR.

The start date of the project activities’ implementation: 16th of November 2016.

The anticipated end date of the project activities’ implementation: 15th of November 2018.

As the cluster aims to become involved in international network chains, maintain export positions in foreign markets, enter new markets and promote the development of exports of higher value-added products in the field of creative industries, the following activities of the project are carried out:

  • cluster marketing to increase visibility of company group’s services and projects, to attract new members or to become involved in international networks (clusters), costs of business cluster members;
  • researches/analyses directly related to development of export.

Užupis Creative Cluster has a great experience in the field of internationalization promotion. The cluster employs a professional team and the organization has successfully implemented a number of international projects: researches necessary for development of the simulation games sector were carried out, laboratories for business processes, consumer behaviour, simulation of mechatronics processes were established as well as laboratories for complex interactive media, integrated communication processes, information security research modelling.

The started project will provide an impetus for development of the export of services jointly provided by the members of the cluster and will allow them to join the international chains of business companies’ networks.
